Celestial Show Set for New Year's Eve

A delightful display of planets and the moon will occur on New Year's Eve for anyone wishing to step outside and look up just after sunset.
Venus, brighter than all other planets and stars, will dangle just below the thin crescent moon in the southwestern sky. It'll be visible --
impossible to miss, in fact -- just as the sun goes down, assuming skies are cloud-free.
Soon thereafter,
Mercury and Jupiter will show up hugging the south-southwestern horizon (just above where the sun went down) and extremely close to each other. Jupiter is very bright and easy to spot; Mercury is faint and harder to see, but it'll be apparent by its location just to the left of Jupiter.
Jupiter and Mercury will set less than an hour after the sun, so timing your viewing just after sunset is crucial. You'll also need a location with a clear view of the western horizon, unobstructed by buildings, trees or mountains.
All the planets, along with the
moon and sun, traverse an arc across our sky called the ecliptic, which corresponds to the plane in space that they all roughly share. For this reason, you could draw an imaginary line from the general location of Venus and the moon, down through the other two planets, and the line would point to where the sun went down. This line could also initially help you find Jupiter and Mercury.

Puzzle Pirates

Heyy Everyone..
You're all probably wondering what puzzle pirates is? I found this AH-mazing game on www.miniclip.com under multi-playered games. Or you can find it under www.puzzlepirates.com
Puzzle Pirates is an open-ended multi-player game played by thousands of people from around the globe each day.

In Puzzle Pirates, you take on the role of a Pirate. After creating your Pirate, you are free to travel from Island to Island around the Ocean, earning your keep as a sailor and buccaneer. You can use your wealth to buy yourself a ship, fill out your wardrobe, or even become a merchant yourself. There is almost no limit to what you can do! Uniquely among massively multi-player games, many of the aspects of the Puzzle Pirates world are based on playing fun, engaging Puzzles. For example, sword fighting between players is an interactive Puzzle; the different aspects of maintaining your pirate ship are each solo puzzles; sailing the ship in battle is a strategic puzzle you play against other players. As a result, the game will always present you with new and interesting challenges: You are never limited by the level of your character, only by your skill at each of our 20 puzzles! The Puzzle Pirates world is made up of varied islands, each linked to the next by dangerous sea lanes. Each ship sailing from island to island is crewed by players working together cooperatively to earn their fortune. While out adventuring, players can face attack from roaming brigands, hunt for treasure, dare to sail to haunted sea monster realms, or even make plans to conquer their very own island. The game provides entertainment for players of all ages, from simple puzzling fun all the way to the complexities of battles involving hundreds of ships.

It's pretty cool and fun. Yo0u dont have to become a member or anything like that. IT'S FREE! But if you wanna buy money called dubloons that members have, visit Target or you could trade your money that you earn in the game to buy dubloons. Visit this website to see pictures of puzzle pirates and learn a little more about it.

Tracking Santa Claus

Heyy Everyonee...
Wonder where Santa Claus this Chrsitmas??? Then visit http://www.noradsanta.org/en/home.html and you can find out. It's the annual "Military Tracks Santa" tradition.

The military personnel charged with being the eyes in the sky are certainly acting like he does — and they've been joined on the Internet by millions of believers. Even doubters have reason to pause when they hear the North American Aerospace Defense Command — or NORAD, which monitors air and space threats against the U.S. and Canada — is in charge of the annual Christmas mission to keep children informed of Santa's worldwide journey to their homes. "They challenge it, but only to a point," said Senior Master Sgt. Sharon Ryder-Platts, 49, who for five years has been a Santa tracker, taking calls from those wanting to know the location of jolly old St. Nick. According to NORAD, Santa began his latest flight early Wednesday at the International Date Line in the Pacific Ocean. Historically, Santa visits the South Pacific first, then New Zealand and Australia. NORAD points out that only Santa knows his route. Last year, NORAD's Santa tracking center answered 94,000 calls and responded to 10,000 e-mails. About 10.6 million visitors went to the Web site, which can be viewed in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese and Chinese. The military personnel charged with being the eyes in the sky are certainly acting like he does — and they've been joined on the Internet by millions of believers.

I just started looking at this organization last year. There's games on the site and videos in towns or cities showing proof of Santa Claus and his sleigh with the reindeers.

Think this is cool? Comment me and tell me what you think!

Maybe Last Post?

Heyy Everyone,
Well.. this maybe my last post. =[ But I hope everyone has a happy holiday!!!

The question that haunts me most around the holdidays - mostly asked my little kids:
~"Do you believe in Santa Claus?"
I'm not gonna say if I do or not, because I don't know who sees my blog, but every year, I have a little kid come up and ask me this terrifying question!!! Just today, a 4th grader in my dance class (Gillian) asked me this. Of course I said "Definately!". But he was real once! I am gonna say that... but not to little kids =]

If you comment on this... then I probably wont delete my blog... but if you don't, this may be my last post. So hopefully you comment bacause I really like doing this. It may be some work, but its funn! So Happy Holidays!!! <33333

Ripley's Believe it or Not!

Ripley's Believe it or Not!

Musician Reg Walker spent nearly $19, 000 on a bionic leg for his dog, Coal. Coal, an 8-and-a-half year old bulldog, lost his front left paw to cancer. Without a prosthetic, he wouldn’t be able to hold himself up. The vet used revolutionary technology that helped the remaining bone and skin accept the implant. The success of the procedure could lead to further advances for bomb victims and other amputees. Believe It or Not!

Made by Fred and Friends, designers of ultra cool party wares, FingerFood is a box of 10 party plates that help guests look less awkward with their hors d’ouevres. The tiny plate has a ring on the bottom so you can balance your plate on your finger while holding your drink and socializing! The plate is generally only big enough for one appetizer at a time, but hey, they look cool! Believe It or Not!

Dinner In the Sky is an international company that offers just what you would think: dinner in the sky. A platform is lifted 50 meters in the air by crane with room for 22 guests and five standing staff. The venue is only bookable in eight-hour blocks, but don’t worry, the platform can be lowered in minutes to easily access restrooms.

Believe it or Not!

Macy's Parade & Jonas Brothers

On holidays, I'm not gonna do the sate of the unions.
While I was looking on the internet, I came across a BAD thing happened at the Macy's Day Parade. Heres the one that I think is the funniest!!!

In 2006, two sisters were attacked by M&Ms. The ropes of the 515-pound balloon promoting the tasty chocolate morsels got caught up on – yes – a lamppost. Neither of the girls were hurt too badly – just some minor scrapes and bruises. In exchange for their ordeal, they received V.I.P. seats in the grandstand and a lifetime supply of M&Ms (that’s 384 packets every year, in case you’re curious).

It's kinda bad... but kinda funny in a way!!!
Also, the Jonas Brothers ROCKED OUT at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium at halftime. They played a medley starting with Tonight, leading into Lovebug, then ending with Burning Up. Even Big Rob showed up during his solo for Burning Up! Anyways, mah friend will have the inside scoop of the JoBros during halftime. Just visit her at
http://www.jonasbrothersfandemonium.blogspot.com/!!!
You can also find this website under "Christine" in mah "Followers" section.

Thanksgiving Poem

Heyyy Everybody!! How's TURKEY DAYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!
This poem I wrote was inspired by mah BFF Karinaaaa
I thought it would be cool to do a turkeyday poem too

Roasting the turkeys,
and baking the pies
heating up the mashed potatoes and peas,
we come to see our families
that came from sea to sea.

Holding hands,
and saying grace
then digging into food,
after dinner we take out desserts
and run for that too.

All of this,
is part of the day
we all live and die for,
so hang with the fam
and call up your friends,
and wish them HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!
